Alvimedica Alvision Diagnostikkatheter
Alvision Diagnostic Catheter
Alvision diagnostic catheter is designed to be used in injection of the contrast medium at high speed, facilitation of the pressure monitoring and providing intravascular passage to the other interventional devices. Alvision angiographic catheters incorporate an atraumatic tip. They create success in all angiography cases with the high contrast visualization they provide due to their large inner lumen.
Product Specificiton
■The catheter’s body consists of three parts: the shaft, the soft extension and the soft tip. Stiffness of these parts varies.
■To maintain a strong body, Stainless Steel braided wire is incorporated between two layers of polymers. The wire used in this product is 16 strands flat wire and 304 coded Stainless Steel.
■All of the materials used in this product are biocompatible.
■Due to its braided skeleton, the catheter can maintain up to 8275kPa pressure.
■Flat wire ensures that the wall thickness is kept at a minimum size while sufficient torque control can be maintained.
■Different material combinations used in different sizes;
4F;
■Shaft is filled with radiopacifier, and the polymer used for the main body is nylon.
■Soft extension is made of pebax and this part is unbraided. Hence this feature provides a soft crossing to the soft tip.
■Incorporates a soft, atraumatic, tapered tip which is 2mm in length.
5-6F;
■Shaft is a combination of pebax and nylon with radiopacifier incorporated into it.
■Soft extension is made of pebax, and does not include a braided wire in the middle; hence there is a smooth continuation of the stiffness to the soft tip.
■Soft tip is atraumatic, 2mm long, and filled with radiopacifier.
■Radiofrequency welding technology is used in connecting different parts found throughout the entire catheter length. In this way, different parts in varying strengths are incorporated one to another which is important for providing stability, pushability and control.
■Catheters are given shape-memory with heat, and they do maintain their shapes inside the body.
■Atraumatic soft tapered tip which is 2mm is found in all types and it helps to reduce friction and maintain a soft crossing.
■UV and heat resistant.
■Shaft Length; 100cm
■Diameter;

■5F .047”
■6F .057”

Product Advantages:
Pushability
The shaft consists of three segments with varying strengths. This variation ensures a better pushability.
Optimal Back-Up
Varying segments are found throughout the entire catheter length to help maintaining optimal back-up and stability during the injection
Large Inner Lumen
Due to the materials used in this product it has a large inner lumen. This feature allows this product to have outstanding flow rates, superior visualization and ease of hand injection as a large lumen is created inside of the catheter.
Torque Control
Smooth torque control is maintained throughout the catheter shaft (1:1).
Kink Resistance
16 strands Stainless Steel skeleton prevents kink formation throughout the entire catheter length.
Shape Retention
Heat protection assures that the catheter does not lose its specific shape (curve) at the human body temperature.
Special Tip Design
Alvision catheters incorporate an atraumatic soft tapered tip which facilitates easy crossing through the arteries.
Trackability
Radiopacifier filled catheter is easily traceable under the X-ray. With its special design, 4F can be observed like 5-6F although it has a smaller OD.
Proven Weld
Proven weld allows a smooth transition between the segments. It gives reliability and prevents kink resistance due to its strong structure.
Smooth Surface Finish
Smooth lining of the catheter minimizes the risk of thrombosis and it enhances radiopaque substance delivery.
Curve Selection
More than 150 types of curves
